Sep 21, 2016  I’m trying to print to a RICOH Aficio MP C5503 MFD, this is working fine through Windows but I’m trying to print to it via a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8.5. I have added the printer 4 different ways, via IP, Windows, SMB, and CUPS 1.6.2 with the correct driver I downloaded from the Ricoh website (There is only 1 option) so I know this correct. The way I've done it: delete every Ricoh Printer and related drivers from Ricoh from your machine.

Connect to network and open any printable document. Klick 'Print' and sroll down the printer list in the print menu window. There I found the Ricoh as available (but not installed). I klicked on it - Max OSX configured the Printer, installed the driver and voilà it worked ! On a Ricoh without Postscript Option !

I think the real problem was the original PS-driver from Ricoh. The MacOSX generic Ricoh seems to support PCL.
