  1. Mmmmm tasty:) Anyway with the release version 1.4.1 of the Crescendo driver Sonnet has been able to rid us of the boot crashing! I also have heard that OS 8.5 or later is needed to fix issues with audio clipping and causing crashes.
  2. Download device drivers for Sonnet Technologies Aria Extreme PCI 802.11b/g Wireless Network Adapter. Compatible with Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, Windows 95 and 98.
  3. The Power Mac 7200 was the entry level second-generation Power Mac, part of the first group of Macs to use the PCI bus instead of older, slower NuBus. Originally produced in 75 MHz and 90 MHz versions (a.k.a. Power Mac 7215/90), the slower model was phased out when the 120 MHz model was introduced.
  4. I own a Power Macintosh 5400 (which I've upgraded with a Sonnet Crescendo card so that it operates much like a G3) on which I run OS 9.2.2. I'm considering buying a Palm device to replace my large paper based Day Runner.

Using first the updated Sonnet extension Gary provided (version 3.1) and then the version I received with the Sonnet originally (version 2.3.1) (and even both at the same time once by accident) I added a space to the file name to get it to load first.

The Sonnet Crescendo G3 7200 500/1M features a 500 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with 1 MB of backside cache. The Crescendo G3 7200 is the first upgrade card for the Power Macintosh 7200, which due to a soldered processor and an inadequate L2 cache slot, was previously impossible to upgrade. Sonnet, rather remarkably, has designed an upgrade card that uses a PCI slot to bypass these limitations. This upgrade card also features a 'Fortissimo' 66 MHz bus and three onboard RAM slots to greatly improve performance.
